The ANKA LETYCJA WALICKA’s project that won the Art&Fashion Forum award in 2012 was inspired by 1980s style. In order to achieve an unexpected effect of both the flayers jacket and the oversized T-shirt, the designer has connected Japanese deconstructionism with skinhead subculture’s style of the 1980s. At the back of the flyers jacket one can find embroidered lyrics of one of the Throbbing Gristle’s songs that resemble the 1980s graffiti aesthetics.
